S20 Class Championship Regatta - 2007
The Santana 20 is a 20 foot sport sail boat build and designed for racing. Typically raced as a One Design racing sailboat, many owners have also had much success as a PHRF racing boat and a Portsmouth racing boat. Build by WD Schock Corporation, over 900 boats are sails in the US and Mexico. The Class Association hosts an annual regatta at a different location each year. The Class focuses on development of local fleets and teaching others to make the boat go fast. The boat is liked my beginners and experts alike, a typical championship regatta will have participants who are new to sailing and who have been life long sailors, some of which compete at the top levels of sailing.
